East with the Dragon

About the Book:

“You know,” he said, “the Hill is the only place in this whole stupid town where I feel at home.”

Together, they encounter a group of aging heroes who after a terrible battle are exiled from their home world where magic actually works. Now Chris and Deidre are drawn into the ancient conflict against the exiles’ evil nemesis who is now a threat to both worlds. If he finds the lost magical artifact that he seeks, both worlds could suffer the destruction and darkness he brings with his desire for power and revenge.
The battle is here—the risk is high that lives could be lost as they join forces to battle this foe, but good must prevail!

About the author:

Keith Scheid was born and raised in Washington State. And, while he technically grew up in a smaller town, he would argue that he really grew up once he moved away and expanded his horizons.

He loved to write and shared some of his other writing in various local and regional Northwest publications. His writing was inspired by his childhood experiences, his friends and family, his academic life, his travels (he went to all 50 states, 5 continents, 30 countries, and an astounding number of museums), his love of hiking and exploring, his hobbies, and the seemingly bottomless number of books that he avidly read during his lifetime.

Another way he would share his writing was through enthusiastically anticipated postcards he sent friends and family during his travels. Handwritten with fine print–fitting in as much as he could on the card. He always delighted the recipients with stories about people, places, or observations from sitting in a park, riding a tour bus, or walking down the street.

This is his first published book and, unfortunately, it’s being released posthumously. He’d be so proud to see it published. This is part of his legacy. May it be read and enjoyed all over the world.

Reviews:

Good Friends Are Magic – Zounds! Just spent a perfect summer afternoon reading East with the Dragon in the garden hammock underneath the elm tree. All my backyard was missing was a marble statue of a winged horse. East with the Dragon is a wonderful story of magic and mystery filled with colorful and engaging characters…” Jocelyn S Spicer from Amazon book review

Wonderful children book, full of imagination and adventure – “Children minds are amazing things and this book will allow your child to go on an adventure in the pages of a book. This is a great book for those who may not have found the love of reading yet, and for those that already love to read this will become a favorite.
The author takes you on a journey that engages the imagination and ties into real world experience many children have, come “East with the Dragon” and enjoy the adventure!” KP from Amazon book review
